Ah, The Little Children

Last night I babysat my niece and nephew. It was a present of sorts for my brother’s 40th birthday. I couldn’t afford to BUY him anything, so I offered to babysit so they could go out for the night. My niece is one and my nephew is three. They put my niece down for the night before they left and all she did was sleep. My nephew stayed up and watch movies with us. He is so sweet. We watched Monsters Vs. Aliens (which stars the voice of Hugh Laurie *SQUEAL*) and Wall-E. Both are great movies. He finally fell asleep in my lap. It was so sweet to have a little one in my lap again. My children have gotten too big for it.

Saturday was my nephew’s 3rd birthday party. I still can’t believe he is three years old already. Let’s see, my mom was there, my brother and SIL of course, my SIL’s family, and a few friends I didn’t know. I got him a toy monster truck, Grave Digger of course. If you’re gonna buy a kid a monster truck, Grave Digger is the way to go. I also got him a hot wheels semi truck that crashes or some such. He’s a little boy, he likes his cars. Anyway, I love my niece and nephew. They are just growing up so fast. I’d swear my kids were never that little!

My contract with my phone carrier will be up soon, have I mentioned this before? I can’t find it if I did. I am wanting to switch carriers since both of my kids and my mom all use the same one and we could all talk to each other without using up minutes. The only thing I have to decide is which phone I want or maybe one of those handhelds that are so popular. I have until May to decide. What phone do you use?
