I’ve been through several Health Insurance changes in the couple of years. My company changed carriers and then I left work and got on individual health insurance, and now I am back with my company and back on their insurance. I think the only health insurance company I haven’t been through in the last couple of years is Blue Cross NC, but that’s probably because I live in Alabama. I have to say I perfer the employer health insurance. I admit individual health insurance has come a long way and is near affordable now, but the benefits of being in a group far surpass the individual plans. Again, I am so glad to be working again!

New Decision to Make

Now I have to decide if I want to stick with my old insurance that I am on now or go back to my employer’s insurance. Maybe I need to check out Blue Advantage before I make up my mind. I really just want the best coverage for the best price. Health insurance is such a touchy topic these days. All I care about is staying healthy and with these sinus issues I’m having now I need health insurance. I can’t wait for everything to settle back down in my life. I’m simply so tired of having to make decisions like this. Good news though! My 401k starts back with my first pay check! Which means I’ll be able to check that goal off my list soon!

No surgery needed! Man am I glad about that! They decided my infections damaged my nerves and they are just sending pain signals. They are trying a nerve block. Good thing I have affordable health insurance at least for the rest of this month. They did a block on the right side today and they are going to do one on the left side in a week or so. They want to see how things go with this one first. It was really weird, but I’ll spare you the details. Still, no surgery!!! YIPPIE!
