I got my furniture!

Today I learned how to use our riding mower. It was actually kinda fun. Way better than weedeating anyway. Now that we have an acre of land the riding mower makes it much easier to mow. My husband got stuck with the weedeating. Actually it’s because the weedeater is too heavy for me. After we did the lawn we moved some bricks out od the yard and we were done.

My new furniture was delivered today. It looks so good! The fabric matches the room so well. Take a look!

I am so happy I could burst! The middle slot on the ottoman flips over and it’s just fabric. How cool is that?

Anyway…I weighed myself again this morning and I weigh the same as yesterday. I didn’t do any walking last night, but I did a lot of sweating in the back yard today. I will need to walk tomorrow because I will be at my Mary Kay meeting Monday night and won’t be home in time.

My mom called me today. Her and her boyfriend broke up. It was actually a good break up, if you can call it that. They have really grown apart over the years and have little in common these days. I was kinda shocked though. They’ve been together for ages. Still my kids love him and I will still invite him to birthday parties and such. He is as much a part of the family as anyone. Mom said it really was a bit of a relief for her. I’m glad she is handling it so well. I worry about her.

OH! I ordered the coolest thing online today. I saw a infomercial for it. It’s a clothing steamer! Yeah, I know, silly to get excited over house work. But with my plan to buy an outfit a month I will need it. See the clothes I want to buy are going to need either ironing or dry cleaning. This will do both! It’s called The Tobi. I’ve always wanted to iron my sheets, but that isn’t practical on my ironing board. Don’t worry, I’ll post pics. LOL!

I want to give a ‘shout out’ to all of my Open Diary buddies. I have been a member of Open Diary for years and I made a lot of new friends. I probably won’t stop writing there completely, but less. You guys are always welcome to visit me here and you can leave me notes in the form of comments here. In fact, I hope you do!

Well, now that the day is over I am going to sit here in my sunroom. I have all the windows open and there is a nice breeze flowing through. Lord of the Rings Online is calling my name!
