We decided to have the family party at our house. We have the room. My mom’s house is small and my brother and his wife are trying to get ready for the new baby. We are having it around lunch time so I guess I need to have at least some finger food ready. I will also need some plates, napkins, and cups. I think I already have forks and spoons left over from Labor Day. I do worry about my poor white couches in the living room. Oh well, this is why we paid the extra for the stain stuff, huh?

White couches…? You are a brave woman!
I’m done too. I wrapped the last of the gifts this morning, so now I just need to finish baking. But that’s fun, so I don’t mind too much.

The white couches are in the formal living room. I have a brown one in the family room where we live. My kids are getting older so we though we could brave it. However my nephew is not quite 2…he’s who I worry about!
Have fun! I agree with Jenn about the white couches…yikes! I’m done shopping, but haven’t done sent the Christmas Card yet (even though we’ve had them since early November!) I’m going to try and get them done tonight as I leave tomorrow for my parents with my youngest for all the bridesmaid stuff for the the wedding (hubby and eldest will be driving back and forth because of work and school…thankfully my folks don’t live that far away anymore! That’s just weird for me that they are so close now!)

Ironically enough I was just thinking about me…I spilled red wine on my carpet not too long ago…but I am champion stain-getter-outter these days (I’m also the stain maker for some reason these days too.) Sending hugs to my sis for you…she’ll be up there with Scott soon.

I’m done with everything. I only bought for my mom, her man-friend and a few cheap coloring books and cars for his 5 year old grandson. I never send Christmas cards- I just email them lol
