Yesterday I started taking the stairs again. I walked down at lunch and back up after then back down when I left. I don’t think I am ready for going up just yet. I was so winded after walking up the three flights I had to pause and catch my breath. I am SO out of shape. So for now I think I am just going to go DOWN the stairs. At least for a while. I don’t need to be all sweaty at work!
So, next week’s goal is 160.5.

Thats okay if you are up a bit. Every day and every week is different. I think you are doing a great job! The hardest part is Time. The weight comes off in slow montion sometimes I swear. But doing the stairs is a great start. I am on the 4th floor, and do I walk up…? um, no. I am so lazy ! So since you are starting, I will start too. Down first of course !

Chris, thank you for the encouragment! Yes! Take the stairs! The one reason women find it hard to lose weight now is because we sit at our desks all day when women used to spend the day cleaning house, cooking, and chasing children. Activity is the key, ANY activity. Taking the stairs, even if it is only DOWN is a GREAT start! And don’t think of housework as a chore, think of it as excersize with benefits!
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Like Chris said, every day and every week is different. Put this gain behind you and concentrate on this week
