Weekend Wrap Up

Wow! What  weekend! It was beautiful here. We spent the day Saturday swimming and had a mini cookout. My husband and I had a couple of Margarita’s, too. It was great at the time, but that evening after all that sun and the drinks I didn’t feel so well, but not so bad that I considered getting NC health insurance or anything. It was worth it though. That night we all went to our respective computers and chilled out just enjoying the evening.

Sunday my husband has to work so Becca and I went grocery shopping. She took her birthday money and got 2 DS games and some Littlest Pet Shop items she has been wanting. After we got home and put the groceries away we did some house cleaning. Once that was done we went swimming again! Now that we have the pool finally clean and running it is so great to have. My husband keeps talking about tearing it down, but I like having it. Of course, he’s the one doing all the work to keep it up, I guess I should shoulder some of that responsibility, too.

While we were swimming Meaghan called. She calls me just about every Sunday. YAY! She is doing great out there, but misses people her own age. The other kids taking the course she is taking will be arriving this month and classes start next month so she’ll be happier then. She also told me about some local political stuff that is going on. I am so proud that she has taken an interest in her community. She transferred her voting registration to out there and is trying to learn about things going on so she can vote. I don’t agree with her, but at least she is doing something about what she believes in.
