I’ve been tagged…again :)

My friend Clara at Coming Back to Life has tagged me for this 9 question meme. So enjoy!

1. Have you ever been on TV? – Yes. When I was an early teen there was a local club set up as a place for young teens to hang out. Like a dance club, but for kids. Anyway, they would broadcast the dance floor on a local tv station. I liked to go, but I always hated when I was on TV.

2. Have you ever sung in public? – Yes, for school events and such, but NEVER solo. I just don’t have a singing voice. Let’s leave it at that.

3. Have you ever dyed your hair blonde? – When I was about 11 my father decided to try the Modonna look on me. And no, it didn’t look so good. I’m too dark skinned to get away with blonde.

4. Have you ever eaten frogs’ legs? – No, and I am trying to keep it that way.

5. Have you ever received a present you really hated? – I’m sure I have. Can’t think of one off the top of my head though.

6. Have you ever walked into a lamp post? – No, but I did run into a fire hydrant when I lived in New Orleans. I was, well, drunk (hey it’s what you do in New Orleans when you’re 23) and I was walking with a group of friends from one bar to the next. I walked RIGHT into it full force. I had a HUGE bruise for several months and an indention in my muscle for years after. You can’t feel the indention anymore, thankfully. But I will never forget that. OUCH!

7. Have you ever cooked a meal by yourself for more than 15 people? – Are you kidding? And go to jail as a serial killer? I do not cook. I hate cooking and avoid it as much as possible therefore my cooking skills are well below average.

8. Have you ever fallen or stumbled in front of others? – Today or ever? I am not a coordinated individual. (see story about fire hydrant above) I actually stumble often and I have not yet met a staircase I haven’t tripped on.

9. Have you ever done volunteer work? – Yes. I have delivered meals on Thanksgiving more than once. I wish I did more. Maybe I should look into that.
