The vet called me this morning and told me my poor Colby still wasn’t eating and wanted me to bring him home to see if he would eat. The idea is that the hospital was stressful and home would be easier on him. So I went and picked him up and brought him home. First thing he did was get out of the pet taxi, walk into the kitchen and sniff at the food and water bowl. He still turned up his nose at it. So I got him a plate of canned food and MAN did he ever want it. He still didn’t eat a lot, but more than I’ve seen him eat in a week. He seems to be resting comfortably now and even my other cat is leaving him alone. Still the bill was on the high side of what they quoted me. Well, at least he didn’t have mesothelioma or something. That would have meant having him put down and I just don’t think I can do that. I’m going to keep a close eye on him the rest of the evening and see how he does.

I’m glad he’s doing better and eating a bit. Maybe the dry food hurt his tummy right now? Maybe you have them both spoiled on tuna… Anyway, ILOVEYOU!
