Second Block

I went and got my second nerve block done on my sinuses this afternoon. My eldest kiddo went with me so she could drive me home. The initial block screws with my vision. It was awful. Not in a “ouch that hurts” sort of way but in a “get that needle out of my mouth before I freak” sort of way. See, I have a irrational fear of needles. Can’t stand them, can’t explain it. I won’t know if it’s doing any good until later. It takes time they tell me. I have a follow up appointment next Tuesday to see how things are going. I finally broke down and got some coated nicotine gum to help with the smoking issue. It has helped some, but I do still miss it something awful.
