Egad! Holy End of Month, Batman!

WOW! I just survived the close of my first end of month with the new offices I am working at my new (old) job. The sheer volume of cases in comparison to the last offices I work is huge! It is 8:15 PM and I am just not getting settled at home. I worked 12 hours today. Sadly no overtime, I am paid salary. BUT there are times when I need to take off an hour here or there that they don’t count, so it evens out. Besides, strangely enough I am one of those odd balls who actually takes some pride in their work. I want all the cases done and I want them done right…right NOW! Well, on the bright side this month I won’t be coming in at the middle of the month trying to squeeze everything in. But…on the other hand end of YEAR is coming up, too….*sigh*
